Human Resources Coordinator 
 

Position Summary 

The HR coordinator will be a key member of the HR Team at PepGen. Reporting to the HR Generalist, the successful candidate will have an eye for detail and will be responsible for the overall candidate experience. The candidate will work with hiring teams, recruiters, and candidates to ensure a seamless, effective, and enjoyable recruiting experience. In addition to talent acquisition, this role will have the opportunity to work with various HR functions and get exposure to all stages of the recruitment/onboarding process. 

Responsibilities  

  • Demonstrate exemplary people skills and care for the process for each candidate who applies to PepGen while ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience by working directly with candidates, recruiters and hiring managers to schedule interviews, greet and host candidates while on-site, and address any issues that arise 

  • Own onboarding logistics and facilitate HR Orientation 

  • Prepare, maintain and update employee data for the HR information system 

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee information Distribute and collect employment applications and other documentation 

  • Run audit reports to verify data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies or errors, suggest new reports to audit data or suggest additional data fields 

  • Partner with the HRBP on Learning and development administration 

  • Assist with additional ad-hoc projects such as updating social media channels, job postings, and running reports for leadership teams 

  • Create and process Purchase Orders for HR Team 

Requirements  

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a corporate environment.
  • Previous experience with fast paced environments where priorities shift and change 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow up 

  • Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels across the organization 

  • Trustworthy and able to act with discretion when handling sensitive, confidential information 

  • Customer service mindset and a positive, can-do attitude

Note: This is not a remote role. We ask that this person operate in the office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday of each week.
