Vice President, Information Technology
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the IT strategies and systems necessary to support the company's transition from R&D to commercial operations in a global, regulated environment
- Identify and implement IT systems and processes that enhance productivity, efficiency, and compliance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders and their teams to align IT initiatives with business goals ensuring technology solutions support growth and commercial readiness
- Oversee digital transformation efforts, integrating new technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage
- Ensure robust IT security measures are in place to protect company data and comply with regulatory requirements in all areas where the company operates
- Provide strategic direction on enterprise Al and data management, including data retention and governance standards
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT team
- Manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and return on technology investments
- Establish and lead strong vendor management practices to ensure strategic alignment and value delivery
- Ensure GXP computerized systems are optimized and compliant with US and EU regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- 15+ years of relevant IT experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role within the biotech or pharma industry
- Proven track record of leading IT organizations through transitions from
- R&D to commercial readiness
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, including HIPAA, SOX, GXP, and GDPR Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse IT team
- Demonstrated expertise in digital transformation and the integration of new technologies
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating IT strategies and solutions to stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive results through collaboration and influence
Note: This is not a remote role. We like to work together and operate in a hybrid model in office Tues, Weds & Thurs each week.
