The Analytical Development and Quality Control Co-op will support key aspects of the Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls program of PepGen’s current pipeline product candidates.  

Responsibilities:  

• Conduct molar extinction coefficient study for peptide-oligo conjugates and/or oligo intermediates. 

• Assist in building the oligonucleotide impurity library to identify and characterize impurities analyzed by tandem mass spectrometry. 

• Assist with and review HPLC/MS data analysis. 

Requirements: 

• Pursuing a BS or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a closely related field. 

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written 

• Experience working with proteins/peptides and nucleic acids a plus 

• Hands-on experience with HPLC and mass spectrometer instrumentation and data interpretation a plus 

• Ability to work onsite Monday – Friday in the Boston office
